When I was doing my research to start 352 Home Watch Services, I came across the National Home Watch Association.  As I further investigated the association, I realized that if I wanted to be a leader in the Home Watch industry, I had to be a part of this organization.  To meet the qualifications for accreditation, all members are required to pass background check of the owners, have insurance and bonding, abide by the NHWA’s Code of Ethics and participate in continuing education by the association.

Most importantly, there standards are not about the individual members but the protection and peace of mind for the clients of association members.  See more…

As a former custom home builder from Tennessee I purchased two homes in The Villages of Florida. Intending to use one home as a vacation rental property and the other home as a seasonal get-away-retreat I quickly learned the complications of out of state home ownerships! After experiencing long-distance maintenance traveling and a few family discussions around the supper table I decided that upon moving to The Villages full time I would retire my custom home building business and open a full service home watch business. By utilizing my acquired knowledge of the vacation rental business as well the contractor/supplier sub base I had developed over the past few years I created 352 Home Watch Services, a business that offered a total home care program to folks looking to protect their investment.
